Housed on L'Ormarins, one of the valley's wine estates, the Franschhoek Motor Museum holds a collection running from an 1898 Beeston Motor Tricycle through to a 2003 Ferrari Enzo. Over 100 cars are on display, alongside motorcycles, bicycles and related memorabilia, with the veteran and vintage displays drawing particular attention. It is a museum built for genuine enthusiasts rather than a casual add-on, though the setting, a working wine estate rather than a city building, makes it an easy stop to combine with a tasting. Franschhoek's wine and motoring history sit closer together here than in most valleys.
